God's Sovereignty
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
— Romans 8:28 (NIV)
Reflection
This verse doesn't promise that all things are good, but that God works all things for good. Even our failures, our pain, and our disappointments can be transformed by God's sovereign hand into something beautiful. This requires trust—believing that God sees what we cannot and is orchestrating circumstances for our ultimate good and His glory.
Prayer Focus
Sovereign Lord, I trust that You are working all things for my good, even the things I don't understand. Help me to rest in Your sovereignty when life doesn't make sense. Give me faith to believe that You are weaving every circumstance into Your perfect plan. Amen.
